Gas transfer moves gas between cylinders and tanks for filling and dispensing in gas distributors, industrial users and laboratories. Pressure-difference transfer is slow and wastes residual gas; a gas booster pump actively pressurizes the transfer and significantly improves gas utilization.
1. Large to small cylinder filling: boost gas from a high-pressure cylinder into smaller cylinders (e.g. 15 MPa, 40 L) without a compressor;
2. Cylinder merging: combine residual gas from several low-pressure cylinders into one high-pressure cylinder for convenient use;
3. Media: air, nitrogen, argon and CO2 are standard; special media (oxygen, hydrogen) require dedicated models.
When cylinder pressure falls below the usable level (typically 1-5 MPa), the remaining gas cannot be used directly. A gas booster raises this residual gas back to usable pressure, recovering 30%-50% of the cylinder content and cutting gas costs. Recovery is especially economical for expensive gases such as helium and argon.
1. Gas distribution: small-batch, multi-product cylinder filling;
2. Laboratory supply: centralized high-pressure cylinder supply with residual recovery;
3. Fire & rescue: on-site filling of extinguishers and breathing air cylinders;
4. Tank unloading: transferring tanker gas into station cylinders with boosting.
Jinan Shangling Technology supplies air/nitrogen/argon/CO2 booster pumps and complete bottle-to-bottle transfer skids up to 100 MPa, with auto stop at set pressure, oil-free compression and explosion-proof options, custom-designed for your cylinder sizes and filling process.
